Happy 4th O July Ruth!

We went into "the city" occaisionally. Mostly 
when we were on a trip to somewhere special.
The museums, Theaters, and such are worth
the effort. Anne has gone into the city many
more times than I...but her opinion is pretty 
much the same as mine...neither of us could
live there! (grin) Anne has a Cousin who has
not been off Manhattan Island in more than
two decades and doesn't forsee ever doing 
it again.

-> endorsement from a Southern Baptist church, tuition is less than if we
-> weren't Southern Baptist.  Don't know if we'll have a job offer from
-> them but it's too soon to think about that as Steve has another 2 1/2
-> years of school.

Any tuition reduction is valuable and worth
having!!
 
-> We also want to get some wild Georgia shrimp and maybe stop at the
-> Savannah Candy Company down on River Street while down there.  There's
-> other favorite "haunts"; maybe we can try to catch a meal at The Lady &

My sister in in Charleston this weekend. Evidently
there is a tea plantation near there now...didn't
know we had tea growing in the americas!!

and generally prefer water, coffee, or tea

Amanda is visiting for a few days, she
goes back to Calif tomorrow, and I go 
back to the ballpark. I'm loving having
her visit! yesterday we set up a wifi 
network here at the house so when
Annie comes home she can do wifi
right here on the couch!
