Hi Dave,

Catching up after not doing any mail for a week.  Got home Thursday
afternoon and, as usual, lots of catch up to do everywhere.

Provided it's still available.  I don't know how they stock canned
goods, but it seems like a lot of the other things are available on an
"iffy" basis.  We've gone to one or the other store in Raleigh only to
find out what was in the flyer was not in the store. Sometimes it's been
at the other store; usually a clerk has called to verify before we head
over there.

We used to buy Hunts until we started trying to avoid HFCS. I can taste
the difference in ketchup now, of one that uses it vs one that doesn't.

We still make our bread for the most part.  When we buy, it's serious
label reading time.

We look out for those as well as artificial colors.  Used to use a lot
of unbleached before we made the conversion to whole wheat.  We did a
mix of both as we transitioned.  BTW, we found out there's a new place
in town that sells grains (quite a good variety) and will mill them for
you.  The husband was at the local farmer's market on Saturday, said his
wife was at the store.  We dropped off our produce at home and checked
it  out.

Coffee makers use a 5 oz cup as their standard cup yield. It's sadly out
of date since most folks use a 10 oz or larger mug these days. That's
why you only get 3 cups from a 5 cup (rated) coffee maker.
