I've not been to any of my reunions from high 
school, and now that they've torn down the 
building that I went to school, and built a new 
school with the same name about 2 miles away
(that looks more like folsom prison than a school)
I have even less interest in it. I was asked if I wanted
to donate money for a "brick" with my name on it 
for the courtyard and I declined saying I didn't want
anyone to blame me for that monstrosity!

-> year or so we were there, I didn't want them using the stove without
-> adult supervision so they came up with "plate-o" omelettes, done in the
-> microwave so they could have breakfast while watching tv.

When we were in France we had no TV, Microwaves had not
been invented...On saturday mornings we'd go on comic book 
trading expeditions throughout our housing area...We had a 
footlocker with wheels that we could haul from building to building
and trade with our friends. We'd go to the base to watch a 
movie or to the teen club (well I went to the teen club) to play
pool, or to the skating rink to roller skate, or to the bowling
alley. Other than that, we'd hang out at the snack bar.

-> Never would have guessed it!  It is nothing like what he does now but it

-> our CB radio was in summer of 1986, driving back down to TX from NY
-> about 3 months before we went to Germany.  Couldn't use them over there
-> and when we came back in 92, they were a thing of the past.
