We see a lot of that in our family... My son is allergic to tomatoes (mostly
raw, but with enough other allergy-type foods, even cooked tomatoes will bother
him).  My daughter who has had the world's worst allergies all of her life can
eat tomatoes and they don't bother her at all :)  Of course that's now.. when
she was a tiny baby, the only foods that didn't bother her were lamb and
uncooked apples (g).

Sure, you  know what it is, so it's not hard, or as hard, to remain kind of
cool-headed about it.

So far, the only side effects I've seen are some numbness in my lower leg and
UTIs. It's not as aggravating as when the numbness goes all the way up to my
waist, so I can pretty much ignore that.  As far as the UTIs go, thankfully, I
always have tons of Olive Leaf Extract around, and that does take care of
UTI's.  I've already gotten a prescription for the strongest antibiotic for the
first UTI it gave me, so I'm hesitant to ask my neuro or family doc for more.
They'd probably tell me to can the ampyra :(

It is helping a lot so I'm determined to stick it out and get past the above,
one way or another (g).  The biggest problem I've run into is taking it within
the same hour every day.. If I'm overtired, I will generally oversleep and then
I'll miss the right time for the morning pill :)  I have a feeling that taking
it at the same time every night and day is important since it's a time-release
medication.

That's how I feel about olive leaf extract, though it's supposedly been used
for eons to treat infections.

Isn't it outrageous how the mind works.  A built-in doctor :)

Hmm.. I could save a ton of money if I could convince myself haha :)
