I skipped the farmer's market this week.  The corn I got there last week
wasn't as good as the corn from a local supermarket chain this week.  The
broccoli was better though, by a mile.

-> I do with bell peppers.  He (and other vendors) had a lot of green ones

Red peppers are much better, and roasted red peppers ... nom, nom.

Cooked spinach isn't food unless other ingredients are added.  Onions and
garlic come to mind.  Throw it into some ricotta cheese and fold the whole
mess into an omelet and you might have something.  Plain spinach .. ecch.

UConn wasn't huge, but it began as an agricultural school.  They still have
about the largest agricultural science department in New England.

Sam wasn't a rocket scientist, but he could spot a soft touch at fifty
paces, no doubt.
