Either that or the EMP would kill the delicate electronics in the unit and I'd
have to undergo surgery to get it replaced. Neither was an attractive prospect
for me.

Mine is minor at most times. But, when it gets aggravated - probably by the
arthritis in that shoulder it is pure misery. When I visited the Express Care
place I was give Ibuprofen (for the inflammation) and hydrocodone for the pain
-- which let me sleep, at least. But, when I read the side effects on ibuprofen
which contain a specific warning for people who have had bleeding ulcers at any
time in their medical past ... I was considerably concerned. I was also
concerned about taking opiates - I have kicked one addiction (nicotine) and
don't want to get hooked on another addictive substance.

So, they prescribed Tramadol - which works both as an anti-inflammatory and
pain reliever - is non-addictive, generic and non-stomach irritating. Winner
all-round. And effective.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Ulster Fry
 Categories: Pork, Breads, Vegetables, Eggs
      Yield: 1 serving

      2 sl Bacon
      2    Sausage links
      1    Vegetable roll * 
      2 md Tomatoes
      4    Whole mushrooms
      2 lg Eggs
      1    Soda Farl **
      2    Potato Farls ***

  * sausage meat mixed with scallions (spring onions)
  **  the flat version of soda bread
  ***  Irish potato bread

  Slice Tomatoes in half, place in low heat frying pan with
  a little oil.

  Place Vegetable Roll and Sausages into frying pan and cook
  on low heat.

  Slice Mushrooms in half and pop into frying pan.

  Place bacon under a medium-heat grill (broiler).

  Move tomatoes under grill (broiler) with bacon.

  Slice Soda farls in half through the middle, exposing the
  inner bread.

  Cut Potato Farls in half, to create triangles.

  Remove sausage, vegetable roll and mushrooms from frying
  pan. Keep warm under the grill.

  Crack eggs into frying pan and cook gently.

  Remove eggs once cooked.

  Add more oil to pan and turn heat to high.

  When hot, but not smoking, add potato and soda farls to
  pan. Turn constantly to cook evenly.

  Remove when golden brown.

  Serve immediately.

  The pride of Ulster!!! The true fry that would make an
  Englishman cry with shame...
