Ron has his birthday in November :)  He did have a rough time with the heat
last week.. felt bad for him.. I'm used to it, I take a couple of Anacin and I
can mostly make it ok.. I also know when to stay in but you know..

That's neat :)  Bet kids would have lots of fun and good treats with that.

I like the browning of the pumpkin, and the browing of the juices that the
roasting gives it.. it's a bit more flavorful to me.  When I'm in a rush, I've
done it in the microwave for 25 minutes (old microwave (g)).

Hehe.. I know what you mean.  But I think I could get over-widgeted if I wasn't
carful Lol

Yes indeed :) These things weren't cheap, but they sure made my life easier.
There was one right in Louisville.  At various times (we lived there for 7
years or so), I bought that great pot rack in my kitchen, a pizza stone (gave
it to my daughter when I got the ceramic insert), all of the black cast-iron
pots on my wall, a set of Italian import dishes (individual macaroni bowls and
one large macaroni bowl - the one we used for the ravioli AAMOF (g). Countless
cheese graters (battery and manual).. never could find a good one (g).. coffee
grinders.. and as you mention, when I'd go in there just to browse, there
always would be something neat on the wall (G).

Ah.. ok, that's neat that they carried those counter-top appliances as well. I
don't think the one in Louisville did. Every other kitchen thing you could
imagine though (g).

Seems fast!  was it, or am I imagining that?  Well,  I hope it goes well!  Let
me know how it goes.   Did they charge you a fortune?  Just curious if you
don't mind.  The only thing I've had repaired by them has been the screw-bolt
at the top of the mixer, and they sent that for free.  I probably should just
send this one in and find out the cost. Mine isn't making noise like Steve
described, but that bowl will NOT stay in the machine when it gets the least
bit of power applied.. like speed ten for macaroni dough for the extruder -
bam, right in my face :(  Or making bread.. I really have to limit it to one
loaf or the whole thing jumps out :(
