Sounds like time for Ol' Rover to be euthanized. Turbo chargers generally run
around $800(new) and may be hen's teeth for a Rover. I did a quick check of
Google for both new and used items and found that the only site that offered
any hope at all (without prodigious digging) was a site in Old Blighty. Oddly
the turbo listed for Brian's truck is a Garrett item ... so a non-traditional
avenue may yield more results.

The starting problem sounds like an ignition switch problem not energising the
solenoid. That should be an easy fix. It may also be the internals in the
solenoid itself. Neither is overly expensive in $$$.

We got a short break from the heat yesterday - only got to 88øF. Today is
predicted as more of the same with a warming trend this weekend. Phooey. But,
it beats the 99øF to 101øF earlier in the week. My AC ran non-stop for four
days and still couldn't keep up.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

       Title: Baked Smoked Salmon & Feta Cheese en Croute
  Categories: Seafood, Cheese, Vegetables
       Yield: 2 servings

       3 oz Smoked salmon; diced
       6 oz Cream cheese; softened
       3 oz Feta cheese
       1 lg Egg; slightly beaten
       1 ts Capers
       2 tb Fine chopped parsley
       4    Scallions; topped, diced
       1 tb (or more) poppy seeds
       1    Sheet frozen pastry; thawed
            Butter; melted
 
  Preheat the oven to 375øF. In a medium bowl, hand mix the
  salmon, cream cheese, Feta cheese, egg, capers, parsley, and
  scallions. 

  Roll out the pastry sheet to double its size.
  Liberally brush it with melted butter. Spread the salmon
  mixture over the sheet. Roll up, jelly-roll style, folding
  the ends in to seal. 

  Brush the top of the roll with melted
  butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Make 1/2 inch deep
  diagonal slashes across the roll to allow steam to escape.

  Bake the roll for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden.

  Serve warm.
