Hi Ruth!

I know how bad it hurts to even bruise a rib! I didn't do it coughing though..
I did it when I tripped in my kitchen and fell on to one of my antique chairs
:(

You know the type with the tall spindles on either side of the back of the
chair.. well, idiot me fell right ON the spindle.. thought for sure I sporked
myself :) I sure couldn't breathe, that's for sure.. but as it turned out I'd
punctured a lung, and possibly bruised or broken one rib.. :) and geez, that
hurt for the darn longest time!!!

That's neat :) That's another thing that we've started working on here.. Both
bathrooms downstairs need extensive remodeling.. doubt anyone has put any
$$ into them in about 20 years (or more!).. we did replace the toilet in one of
them (it's one of those you see in the ads on TV that never gets plugged? It IS
outrageous (vbg)), but we need to redo the other toilet, and I want to take out
the old tubs and put in shower stalls.. or classy tubs with a decent shower..
that kind of thing.. .. something like that at least (g). We thought about
making a new bathroom off our bedroom (there's a mudroom next to it now that we
could steal the space from) but who knows if we'll ever get to that :) It
would make things easier for me..

>>> take extensive work to really get it the way I want it.. so we'll kind

> Well, it's your call. We know we won't be in this place forever.

Know what you mean :) I was talking to my daughter the other day and I said,
now watch.. I'll get this kitchen just how I want it, and we'll decide to move
someplace and she laughed pretty hard.. :) I hope not, really.. I could see
sticking around here for a bit (grin).

That's really nice that some paid you extra :) Sometimes it's just knowing
that one or two realize it that makes the difference (g).

>> Great :) That makes it so good. Eggplant parmigian is my favorite

You don't see them at any of the national chain sub shops, but you often see
them at smaller Italian sub shops.. they stuff a long sub roll with eggplant
parmesian that's been baked as above, and cover the opening of the sub with
mozzarella cheese, then heat the sub until the cheese melts :)

Yeah, I love eggplant done this way.. if only my legs could stand there long
enough turning the slices :) :) Well I can.. it just is a pia :) but when I
get hungry enough or want it bad enough, I deal (g)

Take care,
Janis
