My mother was a tea drinker, and she liked her tea weak. Once she was busy with
something and asked me to make her a cup of tea, saying not to leave the teabag
in long. Well, I poured the hot water, then dunked the teabag and lifted it
out immediately without squeezing--I was a teenager, can you guess?--and gave
it to her. She drank it and never said a word. It must have been all right,
as it wasn't characteristic of her to say nothing, otherwise.

 >> I should think so. Do you use any specific oil (olive

Agreed.

 >> BM> I can't see that it would be an acquired taste for me, since I like

True, unless the market stops carrying it because of low sales.

 >>> herbs. You can't have too strong an oil for that or

 >> BM> I suppose it would, though I have only used oil and herbs with
 >> BM> vinegar, too, as salad dressing..

 >> That's our "house" dressing."

 > BM> I'm happy with just vinegar and oil.

 > Well, this comes from my MIL; I guess it was the only
 > salad dressing
 > Steve grew up with.

Miracle Whip was my childhood salad dressing. That stuff has been around a
long time.

 >> BM> The highway over here is a mess right now. They're widening it
 >> BM> between Ft. Hood and Cove.

 >> How wide are they making that thing? It was 4 lane if
 >> I recall correctly

 > BM> I'm not sure; I think it will be three lanes in each direction.

 > Gotta keep the road crews wotking on something all the
 > time. (G) One of
 > these years we may get over that way again to see how

 > we left.

The area has grown, and many wooden buildings have been razed on post--old
landmarks gone.
