I think I saw that.  Neat place but didnt look like a 'hotel' and a camper is
not in our plans.

Nothing wrong with the higher ones mind you, just not in my personal desired
price range.  I saw no reason to spend 150$ or more a night for what I
anticipate is just a place to sleep at least 2 of the days.

Ok!  Having possibly more hotel experience than most, (M Loo excepted) I look
for some things others might not think of.  The street right near that in
walking distance seems litered with intriging eateries and bars and little
shops worth peeking at.  The others may have same, but do not appear so.  One
of the others references a restraunt 3 miles away, which is .2 from Clarion.

(Their mini-kitchen seems the same as all Clarion rooms come with best as I

Perhaps the 600 or so block of Front Street isnt so good?  Hard to tell from
a distance.  The guys by themselves may not mind a bit 'shady' but the ladies
will for obvious safety reasons.

Done!  First booking i know of.  (Ruth and Steve, military ID card rate is
81$ right now but do not know if that will go up later as we get closer).

Ok!  I can shift if need be.  

If it helps, the Clarion had about 6 rooms open still at that rate.  Some of
the othrs had only 1 or 2 but may not be the 'advance book' sort of places so
there may be more.

For others:  I have a 2 doublebed room.  Microwave and fridge (probably both
small).   It's smoking but if they have a balcony and a non-smoker wants to
share, can do and will use balcony for my nasty habit <g>.
