                          Raspberry Citrus Bars

  1                cup  butter -- softened
     3/4           cup  sifted powdered sugar
  2               cups  all-purpose flour
  4                     eggs
  1 1/2           cups  sugar
     1/3           cup  lemon juice
  2        tablespoons  finely shredded orange peel
     1/4           cup  all-purpose flour
  1           teaspoon  baking powder
  1 1/2           cups  fresh raspberries and/or blueberries
                        Powdered sugar

For Crust: Beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30
seconds. Add the 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Beat until combined.
Add the 2 cups flour. Beat untill combined.
Press mixture onto the bottom of a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350* oven for 20 minutes or until golden.
Meanwhile, for filling: Combine eggs, sugar, lemon juice, orange peel, the
1/4 cup flour, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Beat for 2
minutes with an electric mixer until combined. Sprinkle berries over
crust. Pour filling over berries, arranging berries evenly with a spoon.
Bake in a 350* oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown and
filling is set. Cool thoroughly in the pan on a wire rack. Cut into
bars. Cover and chill up to 2 days.

                         Betterscotch Walnut Bars

  12            ounces  butterscotch chips
  6        tablespoons  butter
  2               cups  graham cracker crumbs
  1                cup  finely chopped walnuts
  16            ounces  cream cheese -- at room temperature
     1/2           cup  sugar
  4                     eggs
     1/4           cup  flour
  2        tablespoons  lemon juice

In a small heavy saucepan over low heat melt the butterscotch chips and
butter, stirring until smooth.

Transfer to large bowl.   With a fork, stir in the graham cracker crumbs
and walnuts until the mixture resembles crumbs. Reserve 2 cups for the
topping.

Press remaining mixture into a 13 x 9 x 3 baking pan and bake in preheated
350F oven for 12 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Slowly
add one egg at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour and lemon
juice, and beat until smooth.

Pour over hot baked crust, and sprinkle with reserved crumbs.

Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.

Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Cut into 2 x 1 inch bars. Chill before serving.
