She must be so excited :) :)  So must you guys :) but yes, she'll find out when
she finally can take her eyes off that lovely little girl  (g)

It seems the area's food pantries are pretty low on food.. it is so sad.. Last
week, some kids from one of the local churches came around our neighborhood
asking for donations of canned goods, and I gave them anything I could..
thankfully I keep a good reserve of that kind of stuff around because I hate to
shop in general.. but you never feel that is very much to help.

hehe.. you got it.. When I was in college, the junkfood of the day was Chicken
Hearts and Gizzards in Shake'N'Bake Lol :) :) Nowadays, you wouldn't waste them
on such frivolity :)

===College-Daze Chicken Hearts & GiZZards===
1 lb Chicken Gizzards and Hearts combined 1 box Chicken Shake'NBake

Preheat Oven to 400F

Follow directions on box for coating chicken pieces in the plastic bag, then
place coated pieces on cookie sheets as the instructions direct as for regular
chicken pieces.  Bake for just 15-20 minutes, or until tender.  Don't overcook!

Sure :)  It's probably a combination of knowing how many of the recipes use
standard ingredients that don't work for them, that's all.. that and don't
forget, she's probably read all the cookbooks I've got here, plus a ton more in
researching her own food problems in her family.

It got rough when the kids were small, for us too :(  I remember. :(
