Got some full ones today, baby backs were more expensive.  I took the 18$ or
so rack and Don cut it to 6 rib packets then froze them.  He got 3 1/2 sets
that way.  Matches our eating well.  Pork type.  Somehow, I like pork ribs
better.  It probably has to do with Don preparing the pork sort better.

We also got lots of meat.  You'll note a quarterly trip or so for 'big run'
and this was it.  I skipped the commisarry as most of what i needed was best
price at BJ's.  A goodly 10 lbs of pork followed us home and some 20 of beef,
besides the pork ribs.  They had these cut up packs of mixed beefmeats, for
2.29/lb when none of those same cuts were that low if bought individual.  So
in the pack was a nice little roast, some stew meat, a london broil cut, and
ground beef.

We got a secondary 'steak' (london broil cut as well, meaning almost fat free
stuff and tough as show leather if you dont know how to deal with it) and
that's marinading now in a spicy sauce, to go in the dehydrator later for
jerky.


I skipped on the fish and chicken.  I always skip the fish there as I have a
better resource for all but frozen crab legs, but this time the chicken was a
bit more expensive than i wanted to spend and we have some chicken left.

True.  But the MIL was nice people, just foolish to get a dog that big when
she was 78.
