It's the only place she can sleep :(  Housing in CA. is just too much $$ for
her on her salary.. so she and her dogs sleep in the car.. she walks them when
she gets home from work.. it was on CBS's site day before yesterday I believe.

Ok, I can see what you mean there..  If it's always there people might just
become jaded.. or blind to it, whatever.. I guess it's like the disasters in
New Orleans, or in China.. it takes an 'Event' to draw attention to a situation
..which of course wouldn't exist otherwise except for the 'event' :).

I don't know about any such in Binghamton.. there may be one though and I'm
just not aware of it.. doing a search didn't find one quickly sadly enough..
