I guess the demand isn't there. Not very many people are
as technologically behindhand as I am (and as you sound to be).

That's the point of USB ports - it makes the drive bays
redundant.

It's actually fairly universally accepted. But submitting
in this format sort of signals that I'm a Luddite, and as
some of my editing/indexing clients put out titles with
such mouth-filling names as Data Modeling for SQL Server,
Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing, and Reinventing Project
Management, it would perhaps not do to be known as a Luddite.

I have to use some fonts and special characters, so
I'd guess that RTF was the most Luddish format that I
could sensibly offer my clients.

I think it quite likely just so long as you don't use
whatever that newfangled stuff is called, Vista (sounds
like either a Hyundai model or a household cleaner).

      Title: Lentil-Rice Stew
 Categories: Stews, Bean/legume, Rice
      Yield: 6 Servings

      2 tb Margarine
    1/2 md Onion; finely chopped
      1 c  Diced celery
  1 1/2 ts Garlic salt; (or 3 cloves
           -fresh minced)
      6 c  Water
      1 c  Dried lentils
    3/4 c  Diced carrots
      1 cn (15-ounce) beef stock
    3/4 c  Brown rice; (not
           -quick-cooking)
    1/2 ts Chopped basil
    1/2 ts Oregano

  Melt margarine in a 12-inch Dutch oven set over 20 hot briquettes; stir and
  brown onions, celery and garlic if using fresh garlic. Add water and
  lentils. Place lid on oven and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes.

  Add other ingredients, bring to a boil and cook for about 1 hour, or until
  rice is done, replacing old briquettes if necessary. If liquid evaporates
  before rice is done, add a small amount of water. If stew is cooking too
  slowly, transfer old briquettes from the bottom to the top and add 10 new
  briquettes to the bottom. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
