The local Chinese grocery sells some interesting-looking stuff here too. 
There's also a Victorinox store in the mall.  And yes, they carry all sorts
of knives at a range of price points.  I got my favorite paring knife there
for about $11.

Generally I'm her line cook.  I do the prep work as often as not.

Hmmm, note to self, see if I can find the futon in the sewing room.... It's
