and grow nothing!

Doubtful, as home-grown chains flourish, some of them kind of okay,
In-n-Out, Fatburger, Five Guys, and so on for burgers, Popeye's,
Chick-Fil-A, and Bojangles for chicken (these last three quite
sizable chains, but certainly no match for McD or BK should they
pull out illegal as well as legal stops to prevent the competition).

How the mighty hath fallen.

But most internal parasitic worms confine their wanderings to the
digestive tract. Why some would migrate through the stomach or
intestine walls, through the bloodstream, and into the knee joints
I hardly can understand, if not for the Tilt-a-Whirl motivation that
I suggested earlier.

You're not Jewish, I suppose. Anyhow, camel toes are not considered
hooves for some reason not discernible to me (I am not Jewish, either).

Bacteriophage therapy has been suggested and perhaps researched
since I was able to read, say 1960. Hasn't gone anywhere very fast,
though.

Which brings me to the rant part. With the overuse of antibiotics
and the prevalence of antibacterial soaps, wipes, dish detergents,
and so on, sure, the bacteria are thinned in number (initially), but
the ones that live to grow will be increasingly resistant ... I've
been preaching on this for decades, but people reacted with huge
surprise at phenomena such as MRSA ... bunch of idiots, not least
the medical (and worse, the near-medical) professions.

Kale with golden raisins
cat: Tuscan, Virginia, side, vegan
servings: 4

1 lb Tuscan kale
3 Tb olive oil
3 garlic cloves, mashed but whole
1 dried hot chile, opt
4 Tb golden raisins
2 c vegetable stock
salt

Wash kale and remove stalks. Cut leaves into 1"-wide strips
(M says: julienne). Heat oil with garlic and chile on medium
until garlic begins to brown. Stir in raisins and kale. Add
stock and simmer 20 min until kale is tender. Uncover and
reduce liquid. Remove chili, add salt to taste, and serve.
