Kinda/sorta. I've enjoyed sewing for years. I started out mostly garment
sewing but with an occaisional quilt. In HI I did more quilts (baby
quilts for special needs/hospitalised babies) than clothes; here it's a
fairly even mix.  Right now I'm doing a pink nursery set for the grand
daughter to be; when her brother was born 5 years ago, I did a blue one.
I told Rachel I couldn't afford to have a co-ordinated set of everything
in the nursery (even sewing) when she and her sister were born so let me
indulge in it now.  She was more than willing. (G)

The heat goes on...............and on.............and on.............
We should get a break starting tomorrow but now are close to 6" below
the norm for rain. But, with the high pressure system moving out, the
heat should abate and thunderstorms start to kick in for the afternoons
again.  We're trying to eat lighter meals and have been enjoying the ice
cream Steve made Saturday night.

No, actually it should be about 10 degrees (more or less) cooler than it
is now for this time of the year.  July and August are the hottest and
humidist in the south east. I'm glad we have central air conditioning;
it makes the inside bearable.  The car we have is only the 2nd one we've
ever had with AC; looking back, I sometimes wonder how we survived
living in NC and TX without AC in the car. 4/55 is a poor sub for the
real thing. (G)

My favorite line ever since Steve got the Commodor 64 is "the computer
is only as smart or as dumb as the one using it". (G)
