But a lot more than we are doing! We've got a few plastic
containers--window pots with herbs. I gave the oregano a major "hair
cut" yesteday and put it into the dehydrator.  This morning I half
filled a spice jar (tall, but not fat size) with dried oregano.
Probably tomorrow I'll do the basil.

Our rosemary isn't as big as the oregano (was) or the basil (is).  Could
be because it's the middle plant but it seems to be bushing out more
than growing up.

Better than the birds geting all of it. My mom had some years when that
happened to the cherry tree.

I think this was maybe a couple of plants. One was going all over the

As long as you don't have so many you are leaving "mystery bags" on your
neighbor's door steps. (G)

Your choice; we tried a couple of times without cages but like the
"containment" the cages give.

Steve will probably file for 30April2009.  He had to sumbit a packet for
the Sergeant Major board (meeting this month) and will drop his
paperwork after he finds out the result of that.  But, we're
anticipating they will not pick him up.
