Oh thats the truth. She had to whip out her checkbook on the spot. If there
was a way to pay in installemnts, I didnt over hear it. (I was trying to be
polite but couldnt help hear about it).

If it's pure miso, it should be fine. Refridgeration is optional with it. I
normally keep mine in the freezer door but that's just a handy place to have
it. I think it's funny how it never really freezes.

Can I make a suggestion? See if Steve can sign you up just yourself right
now. The Navy class I was in was for all branches (there's nothing branch
specific in TAP but the name may be different for you). Spouses are highly
encouraged to attend and do not need the military member with them at the
same class. So, you can go now and later Steve and you can go again.

Much of what they will tell you about, really *really* needs to start 12
months out.

Ours is 4 days long then there are ancillary classes for specific needs, such
as one specific for folks like me who need to pre-file for disability
benefits with the VA. If you wait til retirement for that, it can take up to
2 years (backpaid but without interest etc). Mega difference between 50% and
above, and 40% or below. New laws passed on that.

Some of it wont be all that relevant to you, but it wont hurt you to find out
how to do a proper job interview or how to write a resume <g>. They even had
a section on how a spouse who hasnt been working due to constant moves, can
do one.

The SBP is better than it used to be on rates. If you'll elect to cover
1,000$ worth of his income, it will be about 60$ a month and give you a
payback for life of 550$ (just dont remarry before you are 57). I think
thats how it worked.

Yes, even at worst looks like I can be there by the Saturday portion and
after that.

the dogs too.
