borg?? no matter... you can also use bean cans as long as there is something
between the bottom one and the next one up to keep the ball from going all the
way down... well, if you decide to put a ball in it ;)

i dunno if i've used them against magpies or not... i didn't ask them what they
were the times that i have used a "cannon" against black colored birds... they
sound very much like crows but i don't know if they can see a bullet coming and
bounce it off of them like a crow can do... yeah, crows can also do that with a
blast of shotgun pellets but you have a better chance of knocking them down
with a shotgun... the cannon is only to scare them away...

you could also try putting an owl out there... i understand they don't like
owls... or is that pigeons i'm thinking of?
