I've heard the Kiss Cam mentioned before...but
recently at the Safe (local name for Safeco 
Field), we had an "incident". Two lesbians were
sitting in the stands making out...and a nearby 
family objected to the seating host, who went 
and told them to stop. (there WAS more than just
simple kissing going on). One of the ladies was 
recently on an MTV series (sort of like the bachelor
I think, only it ivolved a BI woman as the object 
of affection for both guys and girls) and they
got "political" and demanded a bunch of things
(including free tickets for some future game, as
they had spent so much time filling out the
complaint form). When they did not get 
"satisfaction" from the ballpark, they went to
the press and things got touchy from there.
We had several meetings with the team's 
law firm discussing how to and how NOT to
address same sex issues in the ballpark. 
Safeco has never had a "kissing cam" but 
the gay ladies claimed we did, and they 
claimed it was just a simple peck on the 
lips that got them warned...which is a
HUGE understatement...but we didn't have
video to prove them wrong so....They tried
to roast us in the press but it didn't pan 
out as well as they'd hoped. But now we
are "on alert" for more possible "political" 
attempts to generate publicity for their
agenda. Needless to say, we have had
extensive discussions on how to handle 
the situation(s) should they arise again!

OK, Most ball teams have something similar...the M's
have the "Diamond Club" which is right behind home
on the 100 (field) level. High priced seats that includes
food, complimentary parking and a private bar beneath
the seats behind homeplate. Waiters bring the food you
order right out to your seat! Obviously I have never been
in those seats...at least not during a game! (grin)

A shot to center, even right center is more impressive than
just a shot down the line, even if it's an opposite field shot.
Felix is still wanting to make his next start, but is wearing a 
"boot" to keep the sprained ankle immobile.

well we whupped the padres last night..a team that is
as sorry as the M's this year...and guess what?
they share a training facility in Peoria AZ...
Wonder if something is in the water there?
