I try to too but cooking for that many people meant a lot more to be
prepped, cooked and cleaned up after. I tried to keep up with the hand
wash dishes during the day as best I could but some days that was easier
said than done. Robert and David were on Easter break; they're back in
school now. Steve is gone back to NC so I've seen a difference in the
amount of dishes factoring in those 2 elements.

I'm usually pretty careful how I handle meats. Took a tip from Alton
Brwon a few years ago and now have separate cutting boards for meat and
fruits/vegetables. Bread has its own board as well. That one is wooden,
others are the dishwasherable plastic. They go in after each use (not
the wooden one). I'm also careful to wash up all knives, etc that can't
go into the dishwasher. I will use the same knife to go from
fruits/vegetables to raw meat but never the other way around unless it
has a bath in hot, soapy water first.

It's basically a motor mounted on a base to which you can attach various
tools like a lathe, drill press, etc. Saves having to buy stands for
each one, allows more tools to be used in a smaller space.
