Hi Carol,

CS> I don't have enough dishes even including pots, pans and cassaroles to
CS> add up to that! I must be kitchen challanged....

No, you've got a smaller family and you cook more of a minimalist style.
Rachel and David now have 3 children and a 3000+/- square foot house.
They also gave up the military/mobile life style about 5 years ago.

CS> I have 2 little plastic ones as you may have noticed and 1 large wood
CS> one. The wood one isnt fancy so it's ok to wash it in water and bleach
CS> it. I don't use the dishwasher on it, but anything else is ok if not
 CS> soaked to long.

I have a couple of roughly 12 by 18 plastic, a couple of larger plastic,
an assortment of small plastic (good for small jobs) and 3 wooden ones.
One is from my grandmother's estate, primarily used for slicing bread;
one is in the need of repair, Steve bought it when he got to DLI,
Monterey--slabs of wood glued together; and one is bamboo. The latter 2
are about 15 by 24 (give or take); the first is about 12 by 12 with a
handle. Yes, probably more than I need but very handy for chop-chop
time.

 > CS> What is a 'shopsmith'?

 > It's basically a motor mounted on a base to which you can attach various

 CS> Ok.

Steve had been half thinking about one for years but never had the
room/money/whatever for one.

 > > Other than finding places that are pet friendly, I don't know what to

 > CS> A bigger car would be the start!

 > Most likely. Also seeing if the critters are ameanable to travel. (G)

CS> Hehehe. I can see me. Cash is head out the door, Aunti Mabel is
CS> peeing on the seat and Daisy-chan is :yowling: along the back window
CS> and dropping fur in fear making for an almost nude cat.

I can conjure up the mental picture. Charlotte is in the shotgun seat
going "mom, did you have to bring all of the pets with you?" Don is at
home both enjoying the peace & quiet and missing the mad house at the
same time.

 CS> Humm. 2 days....

Are you sure you want to do it? (G)

... OH NO! Not ANOTHER learning experience!
