Are spirits ever sold at the bar by the bottle rather than the shot?
For example if a group of friends want to share a particular whisky.
What about wine?  I would expect a couple to buy a bottle rather than
several glass refills.

A waiter need not be servile, any more than any other paid personal
service provider, such as an orthopedic surgeon or dentist.

The misalignment could be the result of a faulty drilling jig being
used for a while.  By the time the fault was found, it was decided
that it was safe to let it remain unremedied.  In any case, that sort
of panel fixing is usually a combination of rivets and bonding, with
the rivets locating, and the bonding taking the load.  It is only
when the bonding fails that the rivets take the load.  That is most
likely to occur after many cycles of take-off and land, on aircraft
used for short haul.

Recent surveys have put Tiger Airways rating well below every other
airline in Australia, in every respect except price.  Its "On time"
rating is only about 75%.

Air NZ standards have also dropped considerably, as indicated by my
last trip. The only free goodies now offered in Economy on
international flights are water, tea or coffee.  One coffee offered
was "Capuccino", which turned out to be a variety of instant, which
included a chemical that made a few bubbles on the surface of the
coffee. It looked like a mixture of gear oil and mud, and didn't taste
much better.

      Title: Nightcap Coffee Mix
 Categories: Newsgroups, May.rec
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
    2/3 c  Non dairy powdered coffee
           Creamer
    1/3 c  Instant coffee granules
    1/3 c  Granulated sugar
      1 ts Ground cardamom
    1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
 
  Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; stir until well blended.
  Store in an airtight container.  To serve, spoon 1 heaping tablespoon
  coffee mix into 8 ounces hot water.  Stir until well blended. Yield:
