As a professional health worker (Physical Therapist), Nora considered
it anatomically educational. (As a voyeur, so did I, more generally.)

I was told that people with incipient heart troubles were given an
epidural anaesthetic instead of being completely knocked out like I
was.  Then, as the patients didn't have control of anything below the
waist, the catheter was used to spare the surgeon from having to cope
with unpleasant dribbles.

The morphine and its associated nausea was stopped after the first
day, and then the wine was started, which settled my stomach.

All that turned out to be rather petty, considering that the day after
I left the hospital they re-calculated the costs, and re-imbursed me
well over $1000 over-payment.  Idiots!

 ML> My strategy. I send a box of the finest to the nurse station.

I will take a box in to them when I am OK to drive; probably next
week, when I take back the aids I hired.

Life is almost back to normal.  I can even put on my own socks. (Don't
tell Jason, as I now have him doing a lot more work around the house
that I claim is beyond my capabilities.)

  PROMITE:- * A vegetable extract containing hydrolised vegetable
  protein & yeast extract from wheat. It has some lactose, water, salt,
  caramel colour, wheaten cornflour & glucose, spices, emulsifier, food
  acid, vegetable gum, herb & spice extracts. It provides thiamine,
  riboflavin & niacin. Salt content is 233mf/serve.
  
  AUSSIEMITE:- * A GMO-free product made from vegetable & yeast extract
