The only parts that are more than about 50 mi from a major
highway are in the southeast corner, near Mississippi and
Louisiana! I've never been there. When in Arkansas I have
never been more than 50 mi from an Interstate and have never
slept more than 6 mi from one. Arkansas is largely, hate to
admit it, a developed if not civilized state.

I was being polite, of course.

Both are rather like badly cooked veal, but I do generally
detect a slight not exactly fishy but perhaps froggy component
in alligator. Actually, when I got alligator from the Winn-Dixie,
I trimmed off any dark bits and soaked the whole in buttermilk
and everything was fine.

Sexual alligator
cat: booze
serves: 1

1 part Midori
1 part Apple Pucker
1 part Absolut citron
1 ds sour mix
1 part Chambord
1 part Jagermeister

Shake first 4 ingredients on ice, strain into
shot glass. Layer Chambord into bottom and
Jagermeister on top.
