That is always a major task when you inherit a phone.  My current one
was previously owned by a grandson, so had a lot of the sort of noises
and pictures of the type that appeal to a 10 year old.

I have avoided those 2 year contracts, as they come out too expensive.

My phone has a huge supply of music of all types; it includes a radio!
Most of my communication is by SMS, within Australia and overseas, as
that is very cheap.  I can also take and send pictures.  The procedure
is fairly simple.  I also need the phone when travelling overseas, to
contact friends and relatives in Australia to ask them to "Send money"
by paying into my bank account.  Text messages are quick and
relatively cheap.

I don't have the need for more than I already have.

... Talk is cheap, but texting is cheaper.
