Fun and joy. Some good surgical news--this morning at 11:32 Logan Calvin
Lewis was born via c-section. Deborah had gone into labor; I'm nt sure
why they did the c-section but will find out later. Good news is that,
even tho he's 5 days over his due date, Logan is here. He weighed 8 lbs,
3 oz (same as Robert) and is 21.5" long.

-> Probably a very sore spot. One to avoid touching at all costs. One of
-> these where you have to be careful how you sleep sore spots. Hope it's

So plan on Amanda doing some cooking next time she comes up. It'll make
her feel like she's making a contribution towards her mom's healing and
give you a chance to compare cooking notes.  If the chemo cocktail is
the nasty stuff I've read about, Anne will enjoy home cooking more than
eating out for a while.

I woouldn't have minded thicker hair, with a bit of curl but radiation
lets you keep your hair.

Read in today's AZ Republic that with the exception of a few big names,
there aren't that many true all stars this year. Mostly guys that
performed well during the first 3 months of the season vs real all stars
that got in on their life time (to that point) accomplishments. Writer
compared this year's teams to those of the 1974 game. Interesting; I
don't follow baseball very seriously any more but would have known most
all of the 74 roster vs very few on this year's teams.

Does her good to get away from the research to visit Mom & Dad too.
We're going to do a check in on my parents next month.
