Whereas I often eat out for financial reasons. If I figure the cost of
utilities to cook, clean up, store ingredients and leftovers, cost of
ingredients, etc. I am actually better off, money and timewise, to get
something whlist "out".

That could get old, too. Back in the early 60s, before I did the "go west,
young man" thing I worked in a burger snatcher called "The Broiler" - which
featured a flame boiler identical AFAICS to what Burger Whop uses ... long
before Burger Biggie came to the area. There was just us and three or four
Mickey D's in all of Springpatch. And we had, besides burgers and fish sarnies,
Coney Island hot dogs with a really good chilli sauce, onions and mustard.
Employees were allowed to eat free. There are only so many ways one can arrange
the limited menu. So, we were all bored with the grub and used to trade a sack
of burgers, etc to a pizza delivery guy for a nice pizza, which we would share.

One night the owner happened by as we were eating the pizza. He got pretty
ticked that we weren't eating the "free food" he provided. So, I asked him if
he liked steak. When he said he did I asked if he ate it for lunch and dinner
every day. And he replied, "No, that would get .... oh." Last we heard of that
and (I hope) he never did learn how we "paid" for the pizza.

DD> I tried their "popcorn chicken" twice in one go. First and last.
DD> Chopped and formed, indeed. FEH!!!

SD> I actually like to get a corn dog or two when I go. Bad for me, but I
 SD> love them.

I live in the home of the "Cozy Dog" (http://www.cozydogdrivein.com/history/)
and have eaten at their restaurant many times - I still don't like their
namesake product.

BTW - the Waldmire family holds the patent on most of the specialised equipment
used to make Cozy Dogs and still makes a big chunk of their income from selling
the batter mix to others around the country.
