Because our GM Jack Z. took the 
best deal offered..we got a left 
fielder to replace that schmuck
Milton Bradley right now...and 
a pitcher that hurled a perfecto
bound game until the 5th inning
on his inaugural outing. In the
Bedard deal the Sox had to make
a three team deal to get enough
to offer us...even for Bedard! 
We got a Double A prospect
from the Bosox and a player 
from the Dodgers, all for 
Bedard and a minor league
reliever (Josh Fields) who
has real potential.

from Oakland!  The last time
we won 3 in a row was a month
ago!
Still most of the teams we're 
facing in the home stretch are
at the top or near the top
of their divisions with the exception 
of Oakland and Kansas City.
So I am not optimistic about our
chances unless they really get 
HOT in a big way!
