Agree wholeheartedly about Langerhans!
It will be a coin toss whether you get
much benefit from Bedard. If he's on and
healthy he can really and I mean REALLY
pitch...but that confluence is almost as
rare as the stars aligning perfectly.

Not sure that he did..you needed 
somebody to cover for Buchholtz and
Bedard when he is on is devastating 
to the opposition. Look at how he did
in his first start as a sox...70 pitches 
but left the game with a 3-3 tie. 
You never seem to know which
Bedard is going out to the mound, 
and it seems to be a coin toss 
each time.

Dunno...have not looked.

upset! As long as Anne feel's

quite a bit...but not to the point
that we have to get an epi-pen
Thank goodness!

Today was the annual Union picnic.
Anne stayed home but insisted that
I go...I went for a few hours and 
had a good time chatting with old 
friends. Ribs were quite good, sauce
not so much...no dry rub either but
they were nice and smokey. Chicken 
was better...marinated in lime and 
ginger and something slightly spicy.
Steaks were good but cut so thin
that getting a rare one was impossible.
Burgers were burgers...did not get 
a hot dog..Had two steak sandwiches
about 4 ribs, one chicken thigh...and
one burger...and one beer...and Olympia
beer...but made in Texas....did NOT 
taste like Oly to me...skunky and 
not very "crisp". Then I came home.
Anne was napping most of the time
I was gone so she was up for
going and doing a little shopping.
We did that and now that we're
home again...she's napping again!
