You mean Peight's Country Store--a Mennonite store near Bellville? We
went there this past December, again on this trip with out friends. LOTS
of goodies there! (G)  Actually, the first time we got the chips was at
their factory in Lewistown. Second time, a friend picked up a case at
the Wal- Mart in Lewistown. That's where we went a few weeks ago and
found out they have several flavors. Bought one each of the sour cream &
onion (for me), bbq ripple (for Steve) and a salt & vinegar (for both of
us). I like the sc&o better than the s&v, not sure how Steve would rank
the bbq and s&v. We also got a case (3 bags) of the plain and a bag of
Tuscan flavored ones (with rosemary, garlic, other herbs & spices) made
in Beamus Point, NY. Those were really good, have to hunt down the name
and do an internet search on availability. At Peight's we got some
stainless steel cookware, a small cookbook, fabric for a quilt, canning
sugar, small size red heel socks (for sock monkeys) and more. Got a
small ham and some scrapple at Peachy's (bbq place nearby), as well as
a good lunch topped off by home made ice cream.

 RH> they're made there. Michael may have encountered them at his visits to
 RH> Annie & Billy; if he hasn't, he needs to check out the plain first,

Since he's in the area, I thought I'd mention it and see if he's tried
or interested in trying them. A taste, at a memorial service for a
friend last spring, introduced me to them, brought back some long
forgotten taste memories for Steve.
