He'd save himself a lot of money, time, effort, etc if he'd use the
washer & dryer on a regular basis. But, I guess he's one you can't
convince to do so.

Does he get them all filled at the same pharmacy or chain? They should
monitor that also. Harder to do so if he pharmacy jumps tho. Doctors do
need to be more responsible tho; it sounds like he shops around and gets
perscriptions from each doctor without any sort of cross checking.

Put on (with help from others) a neighborhood cook out or something of
that sort, with a meeting about getting the utility lines underground.
Get a representative from the company to come & talk to the people as
they're eating; remind them that they can't cook/eat if the power is
off.

OK, I may have to pick some up & give it a try. Have to plan to pull the
pot off the coil until it cools off a bit tho; electric stove will keep
it at a boil until the lower temperature is registered and kicks in.

I think we all do from time to time. But, the places where you don't
have to get all super dressed up and worry about which fork or spoon to
use are rare visits for us. More often it's some place comfortable,
where the food is good and you can read the menu (it's in English and
the lighting is adequate).
