Sort of, or the owner of the firm is holding down him.
By the way, it was the GRE, and he managed to cancel the
test after taking it and now wonders whether to spend the
penalty ($50 or 100) to uncancel it. And so it goes.

I was chubby to my teens, malnourished-looking in my
20s, robust in my 30s, stocky in my 40s, and overweight
in my 50s. I figure I'll be stocky in my 60s, robust
in my 70s, and dust not awfully long thereafter.

Francona is out, but I figure boy wonder Epstein should
have gotten the boot, perhaps years ago. The last few years
his acquisitions have been unstellar (people called Eric/k,
for example), and the Tigers deserve having got as far as
they have just for having had the good sense to persist in
the hunt instead of settling for the disaster Bedard (who I
predict won't ever well for them). Maybe the Mariners could
use Francona?

Also, do you have insight into Rob Dibble's ESPN commentary
that Bedard is a lazy quitter? I know Dibble's slightly
loony and a bottomhole, but he's not dumb, usually.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v7.07

      Title: Fried Spinach - Rau Muong Xao
 Categories: Thai, Beef, slightly loony
   Servings:  4

      6 oz Rump Steak
      1 md Onion
      1 ts Black Pepper
  1 1/2 tb Fish Sauce (Nuoc Mam)
      1 tb Cornstarch
      1    Fresh Spinach
      1    Large Tomato
      1    Clove Of Garlic
      3 tb Oil

  Trim any fat from steak.  Sliced thinly.  Chop onion finely and combine
  with meat, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce and cornstarch.
  Rinse spinach and cut each leaf into 3 pieces.  Slice tomato into thin
  wedges and crush garlic. Heat 1-1/2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Add
  remaining garlic and stir fry until fragrant. Add spinach and stir fry for
  3 minutes.  Add remaining fish sauce and tomato. Stir fry 2 minutes, then
  remove to a heated serving platter. Heat remaining oil in frying pan. Add
  meat and stir fry for 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons waterif meat sticks to
  pan. Remove meat from pan and sprinkle over spinach. Sprinkle with pepper
  and serve.
