That tip is a good tip, and one that I use often for soups, when I
am working with boneless broth and not stock.

I am so grateful that with my health and lifestyle that I take no
drugs whatsoever, except for a medicinal amount of beer to stave off
kidney stone attacks.

During our last trip if Roslind was doing homework I would watch
a little TV in various hotel rooms from time to time. I was appalled
by both the programs (especially the ubiquitous reality and talk
shows) and the ads, especially the numerous ones for prescription
drugs and the ironically interspaced legal ones for class actions
suits over drugs that did harm.

I am no fan of yellow hotdog mustard either and only keep it in the
house to placate young ones who visit.

We can both stagger appointments around the trip and (probably)
loose no revenue.

No lodging expenses as Ray's chicken farm is at the halfway point.

I don't mind driving and Roslind does on-line homework on her lap
tap. (She will have a Masters in psychology to go with the one in
education in 5 more months. At which point she can take on a greater
variety of counselling clients and raise her rates, so she can
support me in style.)

We have decided to drive.


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Jellied Beef Broth
 Categories: Soups, Beef
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
    1/2 c  Concentrated meat broth
      2 c  Boiling water
      2 ts Gelatin
      1    Bay leaf
      1    Clove
      1 ts Worcestershire sauce
           Chopped parsley
           Salt and pepper
      1 tb Cold water
      1 ts Celery salt
 
  Combine broth, water, bay leaf, clove, celery salt, and
  Worcestershire sauce.  Season to taste.  Simmer 10 minutes.
  Strain. Add gelatin which has been softened in cold water.  Stir
  until dissolved. Pour into bouillon cups.  Chill until firm.
  Garnish with chopped parsley.
