Codesharing with AF/KL is not exactly, as you imply,
protecting brand integrity.

That I'd agree with but would not go so far as casting her as
the power behind George's throne, which she may have done for
ER for a while during the early '50s.

That I know nothing about. I'd have thought that having an
Australian speech therapist would be rather like hiring a
personal trainer from Burger King.

Does anyone know the balance between costs and revenues of
Hollywood vs. Buckingham Palace?

On a completely different subject, as I was on the bus crawling
in traffic the other day, I wondered if anyone has done research
on the average miles/hour figures for American (or any kind of)
motorists. I'm thinking that these folks are driving 20 on roads
posted at 50 or more in vehicles capable of achieving sustained
speeds of 100 or more. I guess it's not a 180 turn in topic as
it deals implicitly with costs and benefits.

Probably the world would not have been a better place.
People in days of yore told us both that we'd be splendid
parents, but most of those were self-styled potential
parenting partners. When I was growing up, I was a strong
advocate of the nurture rather than nature position, but
upon attaining the appropriate age and circumstance had
to take a good long hard look at the situation, and both
my sister and I decided not to take the risk.

cat: booze, tastealike
yield: 1 bottle

1 c water
3/4 c brown sugar (more to taste)
4 Tb coffee powder
1 c Bundy rum
4 ts vanilla essence

Boil first three ingredients for 10 mins and let cool.

Add rum and vanilla essence.

Put in clean bottle(s) and leave for 1 week before using.
