We've been enjoying ours. Making a turkey casserole tonight to go with
the cabbage & carrots and maybe marinaded carrots. Steve will have
pumpkin pie. He's taking a turkey sandwich to school tomorrow; it's his
busy day so he eats lunch up there to save time.

I see; thanks for the knowledge. I should ask my dad if he ever got any
of those honors while he was in. Most of his service was during WWII,
doubt they took time for ceremonies like that. He was in the Pacific
theater, then post war reserve time in the Atlantic Ocean.

Very much so. Any day you get is a good one, desite what may happen in
it.....you're still alive.

OK, as long as she stays this side of Z, she should be fine.

That's hitting us now. Since I only did carrots, celery, mushrooms and
cucumbers as veggies, the first 3 will go into stew. Mixed up the cucs
with some finely diced onion, a bit of cream, red wine vinegar, oil &
S&P for a salad.
