 RH> Dad is doing much better--almost totally back to his irascable self.

He's being good about what he eats; Mom is making sure of that. (G)
Doctor has now cleared him for all foods but seeds & nuts but I've an
idea he will be a bit wary of some for a bit.

We've still got a fridge drawer full! Got a citrus attachment for the
juicer we got at a 2nd hand shop a while ago so we don't have to hand
squeeze the fruit. We'll probably juice up the rest of it and freeze it
in small quantities we can add to frozen concentrate. Another project to
do before school resumes next week.

Getting into the sewing room a bit at a time. It's clean to the point
where I've got some room to move around easier. Consolidated some boxes,
tossed some stuff, etc. Next project (besides sewing previously cut outs
or UFOs) is to reduce the cotton scraps to usable quilt pieces; that
will be done bit by bit as I'm sewing.  We went down to Jo-Ann's the
other day & got some thread organiser boxes at 40% off; that will make
the eventual pack out easier too.

Yes, she had used it some, but not a lot, when they first got it some
years ago. We'd been half looking at the 5 plate one because our waffle
iron cord is showing some age. A general handy man friend said he'd take
a look at the cord. We don't want to give up on the iron because it's a
sturdy one & the waffle plates reverse to a plain griddle surface so
George will let us keep it and have the contact grill as well. Somehow
we managed to shoehorn it (and all the odds & ends we bought at the
Kitchenware Collections store) into the kitchen. We also now have a set
of china for 12 in our buffet.

Dave Drum reminded me it's the ulna and radius in the forearm. I
remembered the radius but went wrong on the name of the other. Whatever
the name (or wherever the location), it's not a fun experience. I've got
to be careful about hitting my left elbow as there's a plate & bunch of
screws & pins in it--that one is definately not humorous.
