It's been suggested seriously. Doesn't prevent me from
eating tofu and drinking chocolate Nature's Promise
soy beverage.

I don't care for salad, in general, but there are a few ways
to redeem it; one is to put it in bread, which I also don't
care for in general: it's a case of two wrongs making a
minor offense. But banh mi is not to my taste, partially
because of the cucumber component, but also because the
amount of meat in a normal one makes it merely an accent
ingredient, and there's no worse fate for a pig than to
be lost in a sea of greenery.

It's not that his food was over the top side show gross
but that he was. But after his transformation, he became
rather prissy, and his food did as well:

     Title: Bows n Beans Pasta Salad
     Categories: Pasta, Vegetarian, Low-cal
     Servings:  4

      8 oz Bow Tie Pasta
      1 c 1% Cottage Cheese
      2 oz Chevre (goat cheese)
      1 ts Cumin seed
    1/4 ts Cayenne
      1 T  Chives, chopped
      2 ea Large sage leaves, chopped
      1 T  Parsley, chopped
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Pepper
    1/4 c Rice wine vinegar
      1 ea Can red kidney beans
      4 ea Green onion tops only

  Cut green onion tops to 1/2" lengths on an angle.
  Freeze chevre, then refrigerate 1 hour.  Then flake.
  Drain and rinse kidney beans.

  Bring 4 cups water to boil, add pasta, return to boil, cook 11 minutes.
  (Check pasta at 9 minutes - it should be al dente)  Drain pasta and plunge
  into ice cold water, drain.  While pasta is cooking:
  Mix together cottage cheese, flaked chevre, cumin seed, cayenne, chives,
  sage, parsley, salt and pepper (salt is necessary in this recipe for
  flavor), and vinegar.  Gently fold in 1/2 can of drained kidney beans.
  Toss pasta with this mixture.
  Serve on lettuce leaves, top with remaining kidney beans and onion tops.

  Per serving: 485 calories, 7 g fat (12%).
