Being as you don't drive I can well imagine that any comfort in parts for cars
being available would be "remote".

Then he needs to plan his emergencies better.  Bv)=  But, people in Iowa (and
anywhere in the Great American Outback for that matter) understand winter and
bad roads, etc. The further north one goes the better they deal with it ...
until you get out of the Great American Outback and into Canadia.

I think fructose in and of itself is beneficial - like in your orange juice or
in tomatoes - since fructose is the sweetest of the three naturally occurring
sugars (glucose, sucrose (table sugar), and fructose).

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Fish in Orange Juice
 Categories: Seafood, Citrus, Herbs
      Yield: 6 Servings

      2 lb Halibut steaks *
    1/2 c  Onion; fine chopped
      2 cl Garlic; Minced
      2 tb Oil
      2 tb Fresh Cilantro; Snipped
      1 ts Salt
    1/8 ts Pepper
    1/2 c  Orange Juice
      1 tb Lemon Juice
      1 lg Egg; hard cooked **

   * Or other fish steaks.

  ** Cut the hard cooked egg into wedges after peeling.

  Arrange the fish in a 12" X 7 1/2" X 2" baking dish.

  In a small skillet cook the onion and the garlic until the
  onion is tender but not brown. Stir in the cilantro, salt
  and pepper. Spread the mixture over the fish.

  Combine the orange juice and lemon juice and pour evenly
  over the fish. Bake, uncovered, in a 400øF/205øC oven for
  about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily
  with a fork.

  Arrange egg wedges on top of the fish steaks; sprinkle
  with paprika and garnish with orange slices, if desired.
