Probably had been building for several weeks, possibly months. Anyway,
it is good to talk to him on Skype and see he's doing better. Mom is
still making progress from the stroke she had in August, 2010; it's slow
but steady. She'll never be quite like she was but has come a long way.
Found out when I offered to help her make a pie, she has to do it
herself following a strict order or she will mess things up. Other
people helping can mess up the proccess as well so she appreciates but
declines the help. It's good she recognises it rather than getting upset
about it. Can see a lot of the same in (former) Congresswoman Giffords.

Our car doesn't have a trunk but a back cargo area (same idea tho).
Tonight I shoehorned a lot into the pantry; we stocked up on lots of
stuff at Trader Joe's and World Market (they've got Hawaiian goodies
now!)--some munchies, some lunch material, some junk food...............
