I had the whole glass nose of the aircraft, a P2V Neptune (twin engine patrol
bomber) as my seat (as a supernumerary) was at the bombardier's station. It was
neat for the first take-off. But, extremely disconcerting on the first landing
(at NAS North Island - Sandy Eggo) seeing the ground/runway rush up to meet me.
Darned near earned my diaper diploma.

Just because it's overpriced and over-hyped doesn't mean the food is actually

That was my thought. If I ever made it I'd use a can of Chun King or La Choy
chow mein noodles.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Chow Mein
 Categories: Oriental, Beef, Vegetables
      Yield: 6 servings
 
      1 lb Veal steak; in 1/2" squares
      2 tb Butter
      2 c  Celery; in 1/2" cubes
      1 c  Sliced onion
      1 cn Tomato soup
      1 tb Worcestershire sauce
        ds Tabasco sauce; or your
           - choice of hot sauce
        ds Paprika
        ds Pepper & salt
      1 ts Celery salt
      1 tb Brown sugar or Chinese sweet
           - sauce
     16 oz Can bean sprouts or chow mein
           - vegetables
           Chow mein noodles
 
  Brown veal in butter, put in celery and onions and
  when golden, add soup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco,
  paprika, pepper, salt, celery salt, and brown sugar.

  Place in casserole and bake in 350øF/175øC oven for 1
  hour. Mix in bean sprouts and return to oven and heat
  through. Serve over heated chow mein noodles.
