Lol understand that one :)  It strikes me that Wegmans can be such a ripoff
sometimes.. but the selection is there in general.

If I've got the energy sometimes 'shopping around' helps.

Same here.. though I have a feeling when it comes to problems inherent in
chicken, it wouldn't matter where you got it from or what they fed the birds..
So I wash all chicken well.. so far so good.

At first I thought the rice might not have liked being frozen.. but that turned
out ok.

No, and that's a drag.. reminds me of Ron who had a similar incident, well sort
of.. with Maple ice cream.. he had a stomach virus one weekend when he'd eaten
it, you know the type.. everything you put in gets brought up violently (g)..
so to this days he avoids anything maple flavored .. :)

Sounds yummy :)  I have some leftover steak from a birthday dinner out in
Ithaca.. maybe I'll slice that and throw it in.

This restaurant in Ithaca is one of my daughter's favorite since they are
really generous with the meat and sides.  You don't order sides per person
since each side dish is enough for about 3 people.. I ordered Filet Mignon and
spinach salad.. and as an apetizer, I ordered fried calamari.. boy was I full
when that dinner was done :)  Ron helped me clean up the calamari :)
