Sounds logical. Ketchup has vinegar in it too but I think the sugar
usually overpowers the vinegar flavor.

Good to see real maple syrup in the list; we don't use anything but
that. I was raised on it and, with a couple of rare exceptions (when we
were just setting up after a move or something on that sort), we've
always used it. My younger brother has kept us in good supply over the
years. (G)  Hopefully not the yellow mustard but a good hearty one. We
like the spicy brown as our mustard of choice. We've got a couple of hot
sauces, several Asian sauces, worchestershire & tamari sauces, and 6 or
7 different kinds of vinegar. Mayo is Dukes or another all natural type,
no Miracle Whip. Then we've also got homemade mango chutney, several
types of pickles, jams, salsa, etc in the fridge as well.

We're still somewhat schedule bound with school and church activities.
Each semester the school schedule changes a bit so we don't have
anything too set in stone--yet.

We went over that bridge last June when we drove up from/back to
Phoenix. Sure beat the last time we'd driven it--day before New Year's
Eve, headed to LV from AZ; it took several hours to cross over. We
should have gone the other way! But, we made it back in time to finish
packing and catch our flight back to GA the next day. (G)

Sounds like you had good time. Was the hotel on Freemont Street?
