It certainly can be. And doing it part-time while otherwise earning
a comfortable living it is definitely is, even for an elderly
Realtor.

Absolutely none. In times long gone there was summer fishing,
sealing and whaling in Arctic Ocean and the Coppermine River to
paddle south on to get down below the treeline for winter shelter,
fuel, fur trapping and caribou hunting.  There is some off shore oil
and gas exploration but to date no production and no pipeline to the
south.

Electricity from the hamlet's diesel oil fired generator. It's hard
to ship propane or natural gas by air freight.

Roslind asked the staff at the hamlet office, the nursing station and
the Wellness Centre where she works what she should bring with her
when she returns Saturday. They all asked for more of that weird
green fatty fruit she brought last time. So she's off to the store
for a dozen avocados for her carry on bag. She's also picking up the
best tomatoes she can find, some red onions, wax peppers and
serranos and fresh cilantro. She's going to introduce them to
guacamole and pico de gallo and show them how to make wheat
tortillas and fried tortilla chips. I wonder if people who think
fermented raw walrus fat is tasty will like cilantro.

      Title: Black Bean Wraps by Marge Perry
 Categories: Sandwiches, Low-fat, Beans, Tortillas, Chilies
      Yield: 6 Servings

      1 tb Olive oil
      2    Green bell peppers; cut into
           -1/2-inch dice
      3    Garlic cloves; minced
      2 ts Dried oregano
      2 ts Ground cumin
     20 oz Chopped tomatoes with green
    -chiles
     31 oz Cooked black beans; rinsed
      3 tb Red wine vinegar
    Salt and black pepper
     12    Fat-free flour tortillas;
    -8-inch
           OPTIONAL GARNISH:
    Diced tomatoes
    Lowfat sour cream
    Fresh cilantro
    Tabasco sauce
    Slivered red onion

  In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add bell peppers,
  garlic, oregano and cumin; cook, stirring, until softened, 4 to 5
  minutes. Add tomatoes, beans and vinegar; cook, stirring
  occasionally until thickened, about 25 minutes. With the back of a
  large spoon, coarsely mash some of the beans. Season with slat and
  pepper. Heat tortillas, spoon in filling, wrap and serve.
