I've no idea; I didn't know him that well. I think he got a teaching job
to avoid the draft.

Steve's having a bit of that now in one of his courses. He's questioning
the professor's translations of some theological German but will give
him what he wants on the exam. Sounds like your biology teacher/JV
football coach wasn't the sharpest knife in the block when it came to
teaching biology but, you made it thru and that is all that matters in
the end.

And my public school education is just as good as one from a private
school, if not better. I can hold my own, and even teach in some areas
if asked to do so.

True, I'd not considered but you are right on that. OK, then how would a
teen ager relate to "A Midsummers Night's Dream"?

Smart pig there! I don't know if I would have room for anything that
big, at least not all in one sitting. Like the old joke "How do you eat
an elephant? A bite at a time.", I would have to have a lot of bites
over a lot of time to eat anything as big as my head. (G)
