On that show, they work alone.  Don't remember if he made it to the next
round or if he got chopped.


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Kathy's Sauerkraut & Pork in a Crockpot
 Categories: Pitts, Pork, Crockpot
      Yield: 1 Recipe
 
      1 cn Sauerkraut
      1    Potato; grated
    1/2    Sliced onion
           Generous slug white wine
      3    To 4 cut up bacon strips
      2    Pork chops
           German-style sausage; cut up
      5    To 7 peppercorns
           Juniperberries or 1 shot gin
 
  My favorite thing to do with sauerkraut (sort of a faux Chroucroute
  Garnie :-) is to toss a rinsed can of the stuff into the crock pot,
  along with a grated potato, maybe half a sliced onion,  a generous
  glug of white wine, 3-4 cut up bacon strips, a couple of pork chops,
  some cut up German-style sausage, maybe some leftover ham or a ham
  hock. Season with 5-7 whole peppercorns, a couple of juniper berries
  (or a shot of gin), and let the whole thing rip for about 8-10 hours.
  Dig out the meat, slice as needed, and arrange around the drained
  kraut.
  
  Add a good German-style mustard, some good bread, and you have a MEAL.
