(LOL)  Sounds familiar.  I save the cut-outs from neck-hugger rice bags to 
make bean bags out of.  They tend to be heavy fabric like denim, so they're 
no good for yoyos.

-> No fun. Crazy weather getting to you? It was spring yesterday & today,

Pretty much.  Walking has been no fun lately, and it even decided to have a 
go at my hands.  That's happened before, but it's uncomfortable to say the 
least.

-> I'm always up & down a lot when I'm working on a sewing project. Either
-> pressing or checking out something else my mind is thinking about or

I try to - otherwise walking when I have to isn't too pleasant.
 
-> Good! I got my DWR quilt backing & batting trimmed to the edge of the
-> quilt; now I can bind it, hopefully before our 40th anniversary.

Now number two is mostly finished.  I even got work done on a snowman table 
topper. The throws don't have bindings, which makes life easier.  
 
-> -> It's not common around here. At home Steve usually uses our butter 
blend
-> -> and spices (cinnamon, sometimes nutmeg) on his sweet potato.

Hot pepper on sweet potato fries is great, so it might well work on the 
regular baked ones too.

-> plain cook when she married Dad.

If your dad is like my dad was, it was probably with reason.  Mine was a 
meat and potatoes kinda guy.  Me, I did a Vietnamese-style asparagus and 
shrimp soup for dinner last night.(LOL)  My mom hated it but I ate seconds 
and had more for lunch today.  The stock started with a smoked turkey wing 
since I didn't have pork bones handy.  I think the smoke flavor threw her.
